Summary

	The Pulsar Skate was a modified Baudo-class star yacht Baudo-class Star Yacht Starship Starship Models owned by Booster Terrik and later inherited by his daughter Mirax Mirax Terrik (Human) Character Supporting Characters . Terrik presumably acquired the Pulsar Skate at some point after 19 BBY, when he was using a stolen freighter named the Starwayman. He named his new ship after a sea creature it resembled, and used it in his spice-smuggling operations. Terrik made a lot of improvements and customizations to the ship's systems to meet his needs and adding such refinements as scan-shielded cargo compartments, a high performance reactor core - which awarded Skate with a velocity of around 70 MGLT, 20% faster than unmodified Baudo-class - and tougher deflector shields. For a quick gateway, the ship was of capable of speeds up to 1200 kph in a planetary atmosphere. In addition to its speed, Skate had a suite of laser cannons and proton torpedo launchers for offensive fire. Eventually CorSec Corellian Security Force Organization Planetary and Sector agent Hal Horn captured Terrik and sent him to prison, and on his release Terrik gave up the outlaw life and turned the ship over to his daughter Mirax.
